Hi, I'm Gian.
I'm the founder and independent builder behind BarnBuys. I started it around a simple idea: local roadside farm stands should be easier to discover before you accidentally drive past them.

Why I built it
The best local stops shouldn't depend on luck.
The idea for BarnBuys came from something simple: seeing a roadside farm stand too late and thinking, “I wish I knew about that sooner.”
A lot of great stands are easy to miss. Some do not have a website, some are not obvious on a map, and some are mainly known by people who already live nearby. I wanted to create one simple place where people could discover those stands, see what they offer, and help other people find them too.
BarnBuys is being built around the smaller roadside stands and local sellers that can be especially difficult to discover online. The goal is not to replace the connection between a farm and its community, but to make that first discovery easier.
I’m building BarnBuys one feature, one listing, and one conversation at a time. Feedback from farm owners and users directly helps shape what gets improved next.
